Amazon is set to make your life even easier. The company recently unveiled plans to offer delivery service to the trunk of your car. Partnering with Volvo and General Motors, Amazon is going to use the already available technologies to offer the trunk delivery. It is now available in 37 cities, starting on April 24th, 2018.
This announcement comes after the unlikely success of their in-home delivery, which allowed couriers to deliver packages in the customer’s homes. It came as a surprise that so many trusted Amazon to have access to their home, but many did subscribe to the service. This new trunk service is only currently available to Amazon Prime Members, and you must own a GM or Volvo vehicle to access the service.
