- 1 lb. ground round
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp. soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- dash season salt
- dash black pepper
- 2 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1-2 Tbsp. butter
- 1 medium onion (sliced)
- 5 white mushrooms (sliced)
- 8 slices Swiss cheese
- 4 gourmet hamburger buns
In a mixing bowl, combine the first 6 ingredients. Mix well.
Patty beef into 4 patties.
Heat olive oil in a skillet, add beef patties to the hot oil.
Cook to desired doneness. Drain patties on a paper towel.
In a skillet, melt butter. Add onions to the melted butter and cook 2 minutes.
Add the mushrooms and cook until the onions and mushrooms are tender.
On a cookie sheet, open buns and place a slice of cheese on each half.
Under the broiler, melt cheese.
Remove buns from oven and layer with a patty; then the mushroom and onion mixture.
