- 2 sticks unsalted butter (softened)
- 1 cup brown sugar (packed)
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 2 large eggs (beaten)
- 1 Tbsp. vanilla
- 3 cups old fashioned rolled oats (not instant)
- 1 1/2 cups raisins
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
Preheat oven to 350*. Grease 2 cookies sheets and set aside.
In a large mixing bowl; beat butter until creamy. Add sugars; beat until fluffy, about 3 minutes.
Beat in eggs. Add vanilla. Set aside.
In another bowl; mix flour, salt, baking soda, cinnamon, and nutmeg together.
Stir dry ingredients into butter mixture. Stir in raisins and pecans. Stir in oats.
Drop dough by spoonfuls on prepared cookie sheets, leaving 2 inches between each cookie.
Bake 10-12 minutes. Makes 2 dozen.
