New York Fashion Week is live and in full color! Our Fashion Editor, Tweety Elitou is on the scene visiting shows and keeping her ears to the streets and her eyes on the runway spotting the latest trends in the Big Apple. We are excited to see the fashion art of new and talented designers as well as the iconic designers that has given us fashion to swoon over year after year.
Here are a few of our favorite looks:
The circle and the square—these simple shapes have defined life since the beginning of time, and designer Choe Beom Seok married these lifelong symmetries to make an amazing collection of coats, jackets and sweaters that are both ancient in thought yet futuristic in style. There were several amazing colors that included the mating of brown, blue and black which is very trend setting.
Designer, Kenneth Ning, united the sexes creating an androgynous look that borrows from the 70’s with wide leg pants and modern day patterns that are on the border of fashion genius and the corner of in vogue. Favorite
If you have ever thought of making a fashion statement while camping in nature then designer, Cristina Ruales, has made every outdoors girl dream a reality. Her awesome choice of hunter green gave each model an edginess that was both chic and badass. Cristina’s designs are timeless pieces that many fashion enthusiasts look forward to in the Fall/Winter of 2016. Her best statement pieces were the black leather moto-vest and the green tent-material dress that the designer wore with black leggings and boots.
