The 59th BFI London Film Festival in partnership with American Express® is delighted to announce that this year’s Opening Night film will be Suffragette, an intense drama charting the story of the foot soldiers of the early feminist movement as they fought for the right to vote, and starring Carey Mulligan, Helena Bonham Carter, Brendan Gleeson, Anne-Marie Duff, Ben Whishaw and Meryl Streep.
The 59th BFI London Film Festival will run from 7-18 October 2015.
