From fresh new premieres to season favorite The Mindy Project, television is becoming more and more diverse. Shows like Modern Family and The Middle are awesome and sweep at the Golden Globes, but it’s high time for a little more color to grace our screens. Thursday nights have been dominated by women of color thanks to Shonda Rhimes’ Scandal and How to Get Away with Murder but those are both dramas. What about comedy? Here’s the new kids on the funny block and they ain’t too shabby.
